I am not new to blogging, as I have a blog that is devoted to Amateur Radio that is coming up on 7 years of existence now.  But this is my first real attempt at blogging about my Faith and issues that are Catholic in nature.

For the record, I am not a theologian nor a catechist.  I am not Mark Shea, Mary Kochan, Marcellino D’Ambrosio or like any of the really talented Catholic writers out there.  I am just your average, Joe Everyman who sits in the pew every Sunday.  That is not to say I am not active in my parish and community, as I am.  But I am nothing special.  I am not what I would consider to be exceptionally wise or educated.  But I do think I have a modicum of common sense; and I do know that for the most part, I know what’s right and what’s wrong.  I am a member of the Knights of Columbus and I am a member of their 4th Degree – the Patriotic Degree.  Being a member of the Knights, I am undoubtedly, unabashedly, unapologetically Pro-Choice.  Does that surprise you?

Let me clarify that by stating my “Choice” is Life; and not death.  My choice is Life; and not murder. My Choice is Life and not euthanasia or capital punishment.

And I am very opinionated!  Yes, I know what they say about everyone having an opinion.

I will try in the upcoming weeks and months to express my feelings in the space.  I feel I was called to do that.  If you disagree with what I post here – that’s all well and good.  But the last time I checked, the “Progressive” element in our country was still not successful in removing the First Amendment from the Bill of Rights.  So if you don’t like what you see here, I invite you to move on.

Now, on to the meat of this first post ………

Can someone please tell me why this woman has not been excommunicated?

She has to be one of the worst Catholics in politics.  How this woman can call herself Catholic and be such an advocate for death is beyond me.  As I understand it, excommunication is an act of mercy. It was designed to kind of shock Catholics into realizing that they are on the wrong road and are putting their souls into eternal peril.  Nancy Pelosi seems to be travelling that road with her unwavering, stubborn stance supporting abortion.

I am hoping that praying for her will cause her to repent and change her ways.  But maybe a strong nudge from her Bishop is what’s needed to get her to wake up and smell the coffee.

Can you imagine what a crushing blow it would be to the abortion industry to have one of their most visible proponents repent and change ways?

From this page to God’s eye!

Thanks for reading this.
